Welcome to faithfully rooted
Inspiring and encouraging women battling the emotional ups and downs on their infertility journey.

Welcome
My name is Vickie, I am a plus sized woman over 40. I have a fulltime career at a private college, co-own a busy construction company with my husband for over 20 years and a new mother to two little girls.
I suffer from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and have dealt with infertility for 18+ years. Over the course of those years we experienced countless rejection from health care professionals, thousands of treatments and medications, and more than 11 losses during my infertility journey. To say I feel like a warrior is an understatement. I always had an amazing support system; however, I can still vividly remember how crushed, devastated and alone I felt facing each rejection and loss.
In 2016, after over 18 years of trying, several failed cycles of IVF, at the age of 38 years old I finally gave birth to our first daughter. Then our second in April of 2020. I genuinely believe that our faith- faith in the man above, each other, the doctors and the process is why we never gave up.
My own journey has sparked a passion in me to encouraged, inspire and give back to women experiencing infertility and the ups and downs that come with it.
